Privacy policy

Fishbone helps you break big tasks into small steps. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data.

What we store

• Your account: your email address (or the anonymous email Apple provides with Sign in with Apple) and your name if you share it.
• Your fishbones: tasks, steps, notes and AI hand-off conversations, so they sync between your devices. They're stored in Google Firebase.
• Your plan: whether Fishbone Pro is active, which plan and when it renews or ends. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts for us.
• AI usage: how many fishbones and autocompletes you've used each month, your top-up balance, and roughly what the AI cost us. Not what you wrote. We also keep the monthly count, and a record that each top-up was credited, against one-way codes made from store transaction numbers, so allowances can't be reset by making a new account. Monthly records are deleted automatically about two months later.

AI

When you use AI, including "Do it for me", the text you send (and that step's conversation) goes through our server, hosted on Cloudflare, and is processed by Anthropic (Claude) to produce the result. "Do it for me" may search the web. We don't use your content to train AI models.

On your device

Voice input is transcribed by your device's speech recognition. Fishbone also keeps a copy of your fishbones on your device so it works offline.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, synced fishbones and usage records. It doesn't cancel a subscription; do that in your App Store or Google Play settings.
