Using Fishbone

Fishbone is a planning tool. AI suggestions and hand-off results can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important (money, health, legal, safety) before you act on it.

Fishbone Pro

• Fishbone is a paid app. Fishbone Pro unlocks all of it: plans, steps, focus mode, the widget, sync and AI. There is no free tier and no free trial.
• Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your Fishbone account doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds follow their policies. If a purchase is refunded, Pro ends.

AI in Fishbone

• Each paid month of Pro includes 10 fishbones and 5 autocompletes. A fishbone is one brain dump or "make it smaller". An autocomplete is one "Do it for me". Unused allowance doesn't carry over to the next month.
• Top-ups are one-off purchases that add more. They're used after your monthly allowance, need an active plan, and carry over while your plan is active. If a top-up is refunded, what's left of it is removed.
• To keep the service sustainable, each month and each top-up also has a fair-use limit on what the AI can cost. Normal use doesn't reach it. If you do, AI pauses until your plan renews or you top up.
• If the AI fails without doing any work, what you spent is returned. Writing your own steps always works, with or without AI.

Your content

You own what you write. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Fishbone for you. Don't use Fishbone for anything illegal or harmful.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll note the date above. Continuing to use Fishbone means you accept the current terms.
